At Alva Healthcare, we believe that care matters, and we are committed to providing the highest quality home care so that our customers can remain in the comfort of their own homes.
What makes Alva Healthcare’s home care services different is that we provide a unique personalised care to each customer. We aim to provide you with the same standard of care that we would expect for our own families. This means valuing each person’s unique qualities and seeing them as an individual, and not as a list of care needs.
We work alongside families and individuals to tailor our services to help our customers stay in control of their own care for as long as they can. Delivering the very best home care is our passion, and we strive to achieve this every day.
A Collective of Passionate Care Innovators
Our members are a community of hard-working, proactive, and highly motivated care business leaders dedicated to making a difference in the care industry. As owners of independent, private, family-run businesses, we are united by a shared commitment to helping families arrange and provide exceptional domiciliary care services and live-in care.
Shaping the Future of Care
At Alva Healthcare, we are driven by a single belief: the more people know about live-in care, the better the lives of our loved ones will be. We are here to champion a way of living that allows individuals to stay at home, surrounded by comfort and familiarity, while remaining fully integrated into everyday life.
The Guiding Light for Live-in Care
Since our founding in 2023, we’ve been steadfast in our vision: to enlighten families, professionals, and the wider public on the benefits of live-in care. All our members are committed to upholding the highest standards of care and ensuring that every family we support receives the information and reassurance they need to make the best decisions for their loved ones.
Why We Do What We Do
Live-in care offers a way of life that promotes wellbeing, independence, and connection. By advocating for this transformative approach, we strive to give families the peace of mind that their loved ones can enjoy life to the fullest in the comfort of their own homes.
Together, we are building a brighter future for care from our families to yours. We aim to help people across the nation: one family, one home, and one life at a time.
We Are Fully Regulated
We are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and officers of the authorities that commission care.
The CQC is the independent regulator of Health and Social Care organisations in England, with the primary goal of ensuring that the most vulnerable people in society have access to safe care that is both effective and responsive to their needs.
They monitor, inspect, and regulate all aspects of our services to ensure we meet the fundamental needs of our service users.
The specific areas they assess include:
Safety
Ensuring our service is safe, and you are protected from abuse and avoidable harm, with a focus on safeguarding procedures, premises safety, and staff recruitment checks.
Effectiveness
Assessing whether the care we provide achieves good outcomes and promotes your quality of life.
Caring
Examining the quality of our relationship with you, and whether the care we deliver is kind, compassionate, and respectful of your dignity.
